Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Oconto River above Oconto affecting Oconto County. For the Oconto Riverincluding Gillett, OcontoMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Oconto River above Oconto.
When: Until late Monday night.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, Up to 2 feet of water is covering a campground in Oconto. Floodwaters begin to reach city streets adjacent to the river.
Additional Details: - At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 10.9 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.8 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9 feet on 04/19/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
