Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Oconto River above Oconto affecting Oconto County.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin Pike River near Amberg affecting Marinette County. Duck Creek near Howard affecting Brown and Outagamie Counties. Manitowoc River near Manitowoc affecting Manitowoc County. Kewaunee River near Kewaunee affecting Kewaunee County. For the Oconto Riverincluding Gillett, OcontoModerate flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Oconto River above Oconto.
When: Until Tuesday evening.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, Up to 2 feet of water is covering a campground in Oconto. Flood waters begin to reach city streets adjacent to the river.
Additional Details: - At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 11.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9 feet on 04/19/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
