Description

What: Areal flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall from thunderstorms is possible.
Where: Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in east central Wisconsin, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan. In south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Dane, Green, Green Lake, Iowa, Lafayette, Marquette, Rock and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha.
When: From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff and ponding of water may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
Additional Details: - An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain may fall tonight with expected heavy rain from thunderstorms. This will cause additional chances for flash flooding, rises on creeks and streams, and will exacerbate river flooding over southern Wisconsin. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan WI has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Wisconsin Fox River Lower At Waukesha affecting Waukesha County.
: The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Wisconsin Fox River Near Berlin affecting Green Lake County.
: Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Wisconsin Wisconsin River At Wisconsin Dells affecting Columbia and Sauk Counties.
: The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin Illinoi
S: Rock River At Jefferson affecting Jefferson County. Rock River At Afton affecting Winnebago and Rock Counties. Crawfish River At Milford affecting Jefferson County.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Rock River at Jefferson.
When: From Friday afternoon until further notice.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters affect low lying areas of residential and business property in Jefferson. Water approaches the intersection of Highway 26 (Main St) and County Road N (E Dane St). S Center Ave near the river flooded and Riverview Drive near the wastewater plant flooded. Park is flooded. The retention pond at S Main St and E Dane St is full.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.9 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
