: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana North Branch Elkhart River at Cosperville affecting Noble County. .Excessive runoff from recent heavy rainfall continues to cause Minor to Moderate flooding on many rivers across the area. Additional heavy rain in the coming days could exacerbate the flooding. For the Tippecanoe Riverincluding Ora, Winamac, Norway Dam Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Joseph River Ohioincluding Montpelier, Newville, St. Joe River Ft. WayneModerate flooding is forecast. For the Tiffin Riverincluding StrykerMinor flooding is forecast. For the Elkhart Riverincluding Goshen, CospervilleMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier.
When: From late Thursday night until further notice.
Impacts: At 14.0 feet, County Road K, one mile southwest of Montpelier is flooded. Flood waters affect the southeast side of Pioneer and cover large areas of low land and agricultural land near the river.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning and continue rising to 13.7 feet Sunday morning.
