The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: IowaMissouri Mississippi River at Keithsburg affecting Mercer, Des Moines, Louisa and Henderson Counties. Mississippi River at Gregory Landing affecting Clark and Hancock Counties. Mississippi River at New Boston LD17 affecting Mercer and Louisa Counties.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Mississippi River at Gregory Landing.
When: From Friday evening until further notice.
Impacts: At 16.0 feet, Water affects buildings in unprotected low areas.
Additional Details: - At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.3 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached Friday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

At 827 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Alexandria, or near Keokuk, moving east at 25 mph. A wall cloud has been reported with this storm.
Hazard: Tornado and half dollar size hail.
Source: Radar indicated rotation.
Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near Keokuk, Hamilton, Warsaw, Alexandria, Summitville, Mooar, Sandusky, Keokuk Airport, Camp Eastman, and Chatfield Park around 830 PM CDT. Elvaston around 835 PM CDT. Galland around 840 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include Basco.
