Critical Fire Weather Conditions Expected Thursday: The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.
Winds: From the south, sustained around 20 MPH, and gusting at least 25 to 30 MPH.
Relative Humidity: As low as 10 to 20 percent.
Impacts: Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
