Mississippi River at Gladstone LD18 affecting Henderson and Des Moines Counties. .Additional rounds of rainfall during the first half of next week may result in a longer and higher crest on this portion of the Mississippi River.

Additional Details: - At 11:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet and cresting. - ForecastThe river is cresting and expected to fall to near minor flood stage Monday. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. The next statement will be issued by Wednesday afternoon at noon CDT.
