SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 117 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ILLINOIS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST ILLINOIS MERCER ROCK ISLAND IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 10 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA CEDAR CLINTON IOWA JOHNSON MUSCATINE SCOTT IN SOUTHEAST IOWA JEFFERSON KEOKUK LOUISA WASHINGTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALEDO, BETTENDORF, CLINTON, CREDIT ISLAND, DAVENPORT, FAIRFIELD, IOWA CITY, MARENGO, MOLINE, MUSCATINE, ROCK ISLAND, SIGOURNEY, TIPTON, WAPELLO, AND WASHINGTON.

Description

The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Whiteside and Henry IL zones.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Rock River near Joslin.
When: From Saturday evening to Monday afternoon.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Water affects low lying agricultural land.
Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.8 feet. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Action Recommandée

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding. Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings. The next statement will be issued by Wednesday evening at 930 PM CDT.
