A narrow area of dense fog has develop this evening along and just west of the Red River Valley in eastern ND, with visibility to around one-quarter mile or less. This will move eastward into parts of the Red River Valley through midnight creating a brief period of impacts during the evening commute. Travelers should be prepared for rapidly deteriorating visibility, and to use extra caution at intersections and railroad crossings. The fog is expected to clear eastern ND around midnight, but may move across northwest MN during the early morning hours.
