Description

This is a Manitoba Emergency Alert. The Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued a wind alert for Southern Manitoba, along the South Basin of Lake Manitoba as well as the shorelines near Gimli on the west side and Victoria Beach on the east side of Lake Winnipeg. Northwest winds gusting up to 70 kilometres per hour are expected to develop Friday morning and last until Saturday afternoon, which may raise levels by as much as five feet or more.
