S: Sabinal At Sabinal affecting Uvalde County. Nueces River At Laguna affecting Uvalde County. Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County. Medina River At Bandera affecting Bandera County. Frio River At Concan affecting Uvalde County. Frio River Below Dry Frio affecting Uvalde County. Frio River Near Derby affecting Frio County.
What: Major flooding is forecast.
Where: Frio River below Dry Frio.
When: Until late tomorrow evening.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding reaches secondary and primary roads and low bridges. At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding reaches crop and pasture land near the river. Secondary and primary roads and low bridges flood. At 17.0 feet, Major flooding of crop and pastureland, traps livestock and can drown them. Secondary and primary roads and low bridges are flooded and dangerous.
Additional Details: - At 8:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to 26.8 feet late this evening. What: Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Nueces River at Laguna.
When: Until tomorrow evening.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding makes low bridges very dangerous to motorists along Highway 55 at Hackberry Creek. The Nueces River at Barksdale, and numerous crossings and low bridges in the headwaters and Camp Wood Creek. Campers downstream should move themselves, vehicles, and equipment from the banks of the river. At 21.0 feet, Major flooding reaches recreation camps between Camp Wood and Uvalde. Secondary and primary roads and bridges and can be life threatening. Livestock should be moved from flood prone areas of the flood plain from the headwaters to Crystal City.

What: Major flooding is forecast.
Where: Nueces River below Uvalde.
When: Until Friday evening.
Impacts: At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding nine miles southwest of Uvalde closes the Farm to Market 481 bridge floor. Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground. At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding with livestock cut off and equipment destroyed in lowest areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges are dangerous to auto traffic above Barksdale to below Carrizo Springs. At 17.0 feet, Major flooding extends well into the flood plain. Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground immediately. Highways 57, 65, 85, 190, and Farm to Market 1025 are flooded and closed. Fencing and roads are damaged. At 21.0 feet, Lowest homes downstream in the east edge of Crystal City flood. Numerous secondary roads and low bridges are extremely dangerous to motorists above Barksdale to below Carrizo Springs. Livestock are cut off and equipment destroyed in the flood plain from the headwaters to below Tilden with massive damage to fencing and secondary roads. At 23.0 feet, Disastrous widespread lowland flooding reaches several homes in Crystal City. Roads, fencing, and any improvements in the flood plain are damaged. Flow is generally 1/2 mile wide in the flood plain and livestock should be moved from vulnerable areas. At 25.0 feet, Residents of many low lying homes in Crystal City flood in less than a day from a crest in Uvalde. Roads and bridges are damaged above Barksdale to below Carrizo Springs. Flow ranges from one half mile to four miles wide in the flood plain, trapping livestock and destroying equipment in the flood plain.

Impacts: At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding damages crops and floods pastureland cutting off and potentially drowning livestock in low areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges flood severely as the flood wave passes downstream. At 24.0 feet, Major lowland flooding from the headwaters to the Frio River confluence. Very dangerous to campers upstream near Utopia. Many secondary and primary roads and low bridges are flooded and dangerous. At 28.0 feet, Major flooding threatens the "Utopia on the River" resort near Utopia. Numerous roads, crossings, and bridges are flooded severely. Livestock should be moved from vulnerable areas of the flood plain. At 32.0 feet, Disastrous flooding upstream near Utopia puts flow four feet deep in the "Utopia on the River" camp headquarters washing autos from the parking lot and threatening lives. Camping sites at a girl scout camp three miles south of Utopia are dangerously flooded. Secondary and primary roads and low bridges near the river flood under several feet of fast moving water as the flood wave moves from the headwaters to the Frio River confluence.

Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding reaches camping areas near Rio Frio to above concan during recreation months threatening campers, autos, RV trailers, canoes and gear. Low roads and bridges are flooded and dangerous to auto traffic. At 14.0 feet, Flow extends well into the flood plain below Rio Frio to Concan. Turbulent flow several feet deep in campgrounds is dangerous to campers and their autos, RVs, and camping gear. Numerous roads and low bridges are severely flooded and dangerous to auto traffic. At 15.0 feet, Major flooding increases very quickly to several feet deep over the Frio River banks of recreation camps near Rio Frio to near Concan. Sleeping campers, autos and recreational vehicles can be washed downstream. This is a life threatening level. At 17.0 feet, Up to near ten feet of turbulent flow smashes through campgrounds below Rio Frio to Concan. recreational vehicles, autos, and gear can easily be swept downstream. Lowest homes below Leakey to below Rio Frio are threatened. Residents in flood prone areas should prepare to evacuate as emergency officials assess the threat.

S: Devils River At Cauthorn Ranch Near Juno affecting Val Verde County. Devils River At Bakers Crossing 19N Of Comstock affecting Val Verde County.
What: Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
Where: West Nueces River at Brackettville.
When: Until tomorrow morning.
Impacts: At 24.0 feet, Major flooding several hundred yards wide severely scours roads and fencing in the flood plain. Livestock are endangered well into the flood plain. Residents of lowest homes downstream in Crystal City are threatened.
