...The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Flood Advisoryfor the following rivers in Nevada...Owyhee River near Mountain City affecting Elko County..The Owyhee River near Mountain City has fallen below minor floodstage and is expected to gradually fall further through this week.For the Owyhee River...including Mountain City...elevated riverlevels are forecast.* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is expected.* WHERE...Owyhee River near Mountain City.* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding along the river channel.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 2:25 AM PDT Tuesday the stage was 7.7 feet.- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.- Forecast...The river will fall to 7.3 feet early Mondaymorning. It will then rise to 7.4 feet Tuesday, May 07. Itwill fall to 7.2 feet Wednesday, May 08. It will then riseabove flood stage to 8.1 feet Wednesday, May 08.
