THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 107 IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT TUESDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN MICHIGAN THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MICHIGAN CLARE GRATIOT ISABELLA MECOSTA MONTCALM OSCEOLA IN WEST CENTRAL MICHIGAN LAKE MASON MUSKEGON NEWAYGO OCEANA THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALMA, AVONDALE, BALDWIN, BIG RAPIDS, BRIDGETON, CHASE, CLARE, CROTON HEIGHTS, ELM HALL, EVART, FOREST HILL, FREMONT, GOWEN, GREENVILLE, HART, HAWKINS, HESPERIA, IDLEWILD, IRONS, ITHACA, LANGSTON, LEOTA, LITTLE POINT SABLE, LUDINGTON, MARION, MEARS, MOUNT PLEASANT, MUSKEGON, NEWAYGO, NORTON SHORES, PARIS, PISGAH HEIGHTS, REED CITY, REEMAN, RIVERDALE, SEARS, ST. Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of central and west central Michigan, including the following counties, Clare, Osceola, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Oceana.
When: Through Wednesday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Roadways with low-water crossings may be flooded.
Additional Details: - Thunderstorms may produce areas of 1 to 3 inch rain totals both Monday night and Tuesday night. - weather.gov/safety/flood
