Publié par : National Weather Service
Description

What: Overnight and early Friday morning temperatures as cold as 29 to 36 degrees will likely result in areas of frost.
Where: Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central, and south central Nebraska.
When: From midnight tonight to 9 AM CDT Friday.
Impacts: Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
Additional Details: Although slightly sub-freezing temperatures are possible mainly north and west of the Nebraska Tri Cities overnight, frost is expected to be the primary threat to tender vegetation, and not a true, killing freeze. Even so, precautions to protect outdoor irrigation systems and hoses from possible damage might also need to be considered.

Action Recommandée

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
