What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bexar, Comal and Kendall.
When: Until 100 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
Additional Details: - At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring within the advisory area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen over the past 24 hours with up to 3 inches of rain within the past 6 hours in portions of the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include San Antonio, Boerne, San Antonio Int Airport, Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Bulverde, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, The Dominion, Leon Springs, Timberwood Park, Bergheim, Kreutzberg, Guadalupe River State Park, Walnut Grove, Spring Branch and Nelson City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
