Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin Wolf River at Lake Poygan affecting Waushara and Winnebago Counties. Wolf River at New London affecting Outagamie, Waupaca and Winnebago Counties. Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Outagamie, Shawano and Waupaca Counties. For the Lower Wolf Riverincluding Shiocton, New London, Lake PoyganMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wolf River near Shiocton.
When: Until Friday evening.
Impacts: At 13.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to approach homes near the river in the Shiocton area. This mainly includes homes along Island and Mill Streets. Many seasonal structures are surrounded by water.
Additional Details: - At 2:35 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.1 feet and falling. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:35 PM CDT Friday was 13.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 10.5 feet Friday, May 01. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
