Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Southern Portage County in central Wisconsin Waushara County in central Wisconsin Southern Wood County in central Wisconsin Calumet County in east central Wisconsin Manitowoc County in east central Wisconsin Winnebago County in east central Wisconsin Brown County in northeastern Wisconsin Kewaunee County in northeastern Wisconsin Outagamie County in northeastern Wisconsin Southern Waupaca County in northeastern Wisconsin
When: Until 415 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 1021 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, Wisconsin Rapids, Waupaca, Kewaunee, Wautoma, Menasha, Kaukauna, Little Chute, New London, Kimberly, Chilton, Algoma, Brillion, Luxemburg, Redgranite, Denmark and Cleveland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
