Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington Tolt River Above Carnation affecting King County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Tolt River above Carnation.
When: Until late tomorrow morning.
Impacts: At 5,000.0 cfs, the Tolt River will flood Tolt River Rd NE and many driveways. Some homes in the San Souci area could be inaccessible due to deep and quick flood waters. This river level on the Tolt corresponds to a phase 3 flood in the King County flood system.
Additional Details: - At 11:15 AM PDT Wednesday the flow was 5,530.0 cfs. - Flood flow is 5,000.0 cfs. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river flow in the 24 hours ending at 11:15 AM PDT Wednesday was 5,700.0 cfs. - ForecastThe river has crested and will remain in flood stage into this afternoon. The river is expected to fall below flood stage tonight, but remain near flood stage through Friday. The river will then further recede over the weekend. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 6,500.0 cfs on 01/29/1965. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
