What: Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 9 and 15 inches, with locally higher totals possible. A few wind gusts to 45 MPH are possible Sunday night into Monday.
Where: Eastern Tucker County.
When: Until 1 AM EST Tuesday.
Impacts: Near blizzard conditions are possible Sunday night into Monday, as visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile at times due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is winterized and in good working order.
