What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: Portions of the I-35 Corridor and Coastal Plains, including the following counties, Bastrop, Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Lavaca, Lee, Travis and Williamson.
When: Through 7am Monday morning.
Impacts: There is a potential for LIFE-THREATENING flooding somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts of 5 to 10 inches possible in a short amount of time. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Where: A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Gonzales.
When: Until 730 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 423 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Gonzales, Nixon, Smiley, Palmeto State Park, Monthalia, Bebe, Cost, Oak Forest, Belmont, Leesville, Ottine, Sample and Thompsonville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
