Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: Portions of the I-35 Corridor and Coastal Plains, including the following counties, Bastrop, Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Lavaca, Lee, Travis and Williamson.
When: Through 7am Monday morning.
Impacts: There is a potential for LIFE-THREATENING flooding somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts of 5 to 10 inches possible in a short amount of time. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Ensure you have a way to receive warnings and check the notification settings on your phone to ensure Wireless Emergency Alerts are enabled. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Description

What: Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, DeWitt, Fayette, Gonzales, and Lavaca.
When: Until 215 PM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Additional Details: - At 1105 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Cuero, Gonzales, Yoakum, Hallettsville, Shiner, Flatonia, Moulton, Waelder, Smiley, Hochheim, Cheapside, Westhoff, Ezzell, Palmeto State Park, Thomaston, Cistern, Sublime, Dreyer, Glaze City and Dilworth. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
