...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...Navasota River near Normangee affecting Grimes, Brazos andMadison Counties.For the Navasota River...including Normangee...Minor flooding isforecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Navasota River near Normangee.* WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as waterescapes the main channel and inundates the flood plain.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.4 feet.- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 16.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stagelate Monday evening and continue falling to 14.1 feetWednesday evening.- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of15.4 feet on 04/30/1997.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
