Wednesday morning at1130 AM CDT.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding isforecast.* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.* WHEN...Until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Widespread flooding, especially inNorthwest Orange County from Lake View downstream to the SaltwaterBarrier. Several homes and camps are flooded or threatened.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.6 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hoursending at 10:15 AM CDT Tuesday was 7.7 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.5feet Saturday morning.- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Wednesday morning at1130 AM CDT.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.* WHEN...From this afternoon to early Friday afternoon.* IMPACTS...At 18.4 feet, The water will be at the low chord ofHighway 418.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.4 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagelate this afternoon to a crest of 18.1 feet early tomorrowafternoon.
