Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Grimes, Madison and Washington.
When: Through early Monday morning.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Slow moving, training showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop somewhere within the watch area this afternoon and continue into this evening or overnight tonight. Generally expecting totals of 1 to 3 inches, but isolated higher amounts of 3 to 6 inches will be possible if strong thunderstorms move over the same area. Rainfall rates of 2-3" per hour will be possible within the strongest storms. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
