Impacts: Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 degrees below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite on exposed skin if precautions are not taken. Extreme cold will become life threatening and likely damage unprotected pipes and put livestock at risk.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
