Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: A portion of south Texas, including the following areas, Aransas Islands, Coastal Aransas, Coastal Kleberg, Coastal Nueces, Coastal Refugio, Coastal San Patricio, Duval, Inland Kleberg, Inland Nueces, Inland San Patricio, Jim Wells, Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands and Webb.
When: Until noon CDT today.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
Additional Details: - A large complex of showers and thunderstorms will move slowly across South Texas overnight and Wednesday morning resulting in very heavy rainfall over already saturated grounds. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for south central and south Texas. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for portions of Goliad, Refugio, Aransas, and Nueces Counties until 0845 AM.
