The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for South central Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey Northwestern Mercer County in central New Jersey East central Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania Central Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania Until 600 PM EDT. At 518 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chalfont, or 20 miles north of Philadelphia, moving east at 30 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.

Impact: Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. Locations impacted include Ewing, Lansdale, Perkasie, Doylestown, Souderton, Chalfont, Hatfield, New Hope, Yardley, Newtown, Dublin, Ivyland, Stockton, Washington Crossing, Fricks, Woodside, Richboro, Gardenville, Horsham, and Sellersville.

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of northern Delaware, including the following area, New Castle, New Jersey, including the following areas, Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Northwestern Burlington, Salem, Somerset and Western Monmouth, and southeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery.
When: Through late tonight.
Impacts: Flash flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Showers and thunderstorms with rainfall rates potentially of 1-2 inches per hour are expected across the watch area. In urban locations, this will be enough to trigger flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

At 505 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Chester Springs, or 8 miles north of West Chester, moving east at 30 mph.
Hazard: Tornado and quarter size hail.

Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include West Chester, Phoenixville, West Norriton, East Norriton, Valley Forge, Paoli, Chester Springs, Newtown Square, Lionville, King Of Prussia, Lionville-Marchwood, Radnor Township, West Goshen, Malvern, Exton, Audubon, Chesterbrook, Eagleville, Devon-Berwyn, and Trooper. This includes the following highway
S: Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 313 and 328. Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 327 and 328.
