...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oregon...Owyhee River Below Owyhee Dam affecting Malheur County..High mountain snow melt and increased reservoir releases will causethe river flows to remain high. Expect minor flooding downstreamfrom the dam.For the Owyhee River...including Owyhee Dam, Owyhee Dam...Minorflooding is forecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Owyhee River below Owyhee Dam.* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.* IMPACTS...At 3,000 cfs, Low lying roads, river access andrecreation sites adjacent to the river will flood. Farm equipmentnear the river may need to be moved.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 11:30 AM MDT Monday /10:30 AM PDT Monday/ the flow was3,773 cfs.- Bankfull stage is 1,000 cfs.- Recent Activity...The maximum river flow in the 24 hoursending at 11:30 AM MDT Monday /10:30 AM PDT Monday/ was 3,845cfs.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 3,785cfs this evening.
