THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED TORNADO WATCH 86 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT IN OKLAHOMA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA CRAIG CREEK NOWATA ROGERS TULSA WASHINGTON OK THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BARTLESVILLE, CLAREMORE, NOWATA, SAPULPA, TULSA, AND VINITA.

Description

At 1027 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm 6 miles northeast of Ramona, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Hazard: Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
Source: Radar indicated.
Impact: Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include Delaware Nowata Watova

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern Oklahoma.
