The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Ohio Black River At Elyria affecting Lorain County.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Ohio Blanchard River Near Findlay affecting Hancock County. Maumee River At Waterville affecting Lucas and Wood Counties. Killbuck Creek Near Killbuck affecting Holmes and Wayne Counties. Eagle Creek At Phalanx Station affecting Trumbull County. For the Black Riverincluding ElyriaMinor flooding is forecast. For the Blanchard Riverincluding FindlayMinor flooding is forecast. For the Maumee Riverincluding Grand Rapids, WatervilleMinor flooding is forecast. For the Killbuck Creekincluding KillbuckMinor flooding is forecast. For the Eagle Creek (Trumbull)including Phalanx StationMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Blanchard River near Findlay.
When: Until just after midnight tonight.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Flooding impacts areas near Riverside Park and East Main Cross Street in the City of Findlay. Flooding on County Road 223 and portions of Howard Street. Water approaching some properties on Liberty Street and Apple Alley.
Additional Details: - At 5:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 3.3 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
