Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: The following counties, in central Ohio, Fairfield, Franklin and Licking.
When: Until 1045 AM EDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 740 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Additional showers and storms are expected to move through the region. This will cause any previously standing water to be slower to drain. - Some locations that may experience flooding include Columbus, Newark, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Heath, Granville, Pataskala, Canal Winchester, Baltimore, Buckeye Lake, Hebron, Millersport, Beechwood Trails, Granville South, Fairfield Beach, Summit Station, Harbor Hills, Thornport, Etna and New Albany.
