Impact: Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Paradise Hills, Cabezon, Northern Meadows, Rio Rancho Intel Area and Rio Rancho City Center. This includes the following highway
S: Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 133 and 169. Highway 550 between Mile Markers 1 and 13. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 216 and 245.
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
