What: Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.
Where: Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties.
When: For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 8 PM Saturday to midnight EDT Saturday night.
Impacts: Widespread flooding of vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline, including roads, parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront. Road closures are possible, and vehicles parked in vulnerable areas near the waterfront could experience flooded.
Additional Details: Moderate coastal flood benchmarks may be approached for the Saturday evening high tide in Southern Nassau. Additional minor flooding is possible for the Sunday evening high tide.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
