What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. Where: West Canada Creek at Hinckley. When: Until early tomorrow afternoon. Impacts: At 1227.0 feet, Minor flood stage with two feet of water flowing over the spillway. The river overflows its banks downstream. Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 1227.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 1226.2 feet Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 1227.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A band of moderate to locally heavy snow is tracking into the western Adirondacks and western Mohawk Valley this morning. With temperatures near or below freezing, some snow may stick on roadways, especially in the higher elevations. Travelers are urged to use caution this morning.
