Moderate to locally heavy snow showers are currently ongoing across portions of the Eastern Catskills, Capital Region, and Southern Vermont. Latest surface observations indicate that within the heaviest showers, visibilities have been reduced and some elevated roadways, especially across the higher elevations of these areas, have accumulated a light coating of snow. Caution is advised through the morning commute as the combination of slick roadways and reduced visibility could pose an inconvenience to travel conditions.
