Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of northern Delaware, including the following area, New Castle, New Jersey, including the following areas, Camden, Coastal Ocean, Eastern Monmouth, Gloucester, Mercer, Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Southeastern Burlington and Western Monmouth, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Berks, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery.
When: Through Wednesday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Additional Details: - Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move through this afternoon through tonight. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are possible. Rainfall amount of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern and central New Jersey.
