What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
Where: Carter, Fallon, and Powder River.
When: From midnight tonight to 6 AM MDT Saturday.
Impacts: Travel will be difficult due to snow, areas of blowing snow and poor visibility, especially over the higher hills. This includes Highway 12 from Miles City to Baker, and US-212 from Broadus to Alzada. Cool, wet, and windy conditions will be hazardous for young livestock.
Additional Details: The heaviest snow is expected late tonight through Friday.
