What: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 7 and 11 inches at and below pass level with higher amounts above pass level.
Where: Little Belt and Highwood Mountains and Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains.
When: From 9 AM Thursday to noon MDT Friday.
Impacts: Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions.
Additional Details: The heavy and wet variety of snow may pose snow load impacts to infrastructure.
