Description

What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
Where: Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Atchison KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Bates, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Pettis, Platte, Ray and Saline.
When: Through Tuesday afternoon.
Impacts: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional Details: - Areas of heavy rainfall are likely tonight into Tuesday morning creating the potential for flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Description

The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Missouri Big Creek at Blairstown affecting Henry, Cass and Johnson Counties.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Big Creek at Blairstown.
When: Until Friday evening.
Impacts: At 26.0 feet, Many farm levees along Big Creek are overtopped. Flooding of rural areas behind the levees occurs.
Additional Details: - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 17.8 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 25.6 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
