The National Weather Service in Jackson MS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi Pearl River Near Columbia affecting Marion County.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Pearl River near Columbia.
When: Until tomorrow morning.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Low areas near the river begin to flood. Water covers Old Highway 35 on the west side of the river.
Additional Details: - At 7:30 AM CST Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0 feet this afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
