The National Weather Service in Grand Forks ND has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in MinnesotaNorth Dakota Red River of the North at Oslo affecting Grand Forks, Polk, Walsh and Marshall Counties.
What: Moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Red River of the North at Oslo.
When: From Wednesday morning until further notice.
Impacts: At 21.0 feet, City begins closing flood gates. At 23.0 feet, ACTION STAGE/FORECAST SERVICE STAGE. Pump operations begin. At 30.0 feet, MODERATE FLOOD. Levee and floodwall patrols begin.
Additional Details: - At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday and continue rising to 32.5 feet around Saturday or Sunday. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
