The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy(EGLE) has declared an Air Quality Advisory for Monday, June 17 forelevated levels of ozone in West Michigan. Pollutants within thoseareas are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG,Orange AQI) range.The Air Quality Advisory is in effect for the following Michigancounties:ALLEGAN... KENT... MUSKEGON... OCEANA OTTAWA MASON AND VAN BURENCOUNTIESIt is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdooractivities, especially those with respiratory diseases such asasthma.People and businesses are urged to avoid activities which can leadto ozone formation.
