Description

Light to moderate snow will continue across southeast Michigan mainly along and north of the I-96 corridor through this afternoon. A mostly rain/snow mix will be observed across the Detroit Metro area. Visibilities may drop to one mile or less and the briefly heavier rates may cause light snow to accumulate on some roadways leading to isolated slick spots. Temperatures along and north of I-96 are currently 32 to 34 degrees. Total accumulations up to 1 inch or greater will be possible, especially on elevated/grassy surfaces in the Irish Hills, Saginaw Valley, and Thumb. Drivers are urged to use caution and account for the variable driving conditions.
