Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Michigan Grand River at Ionia affecting Ionia County. Grand River near Comstock Park affecting Kent County. Red Cedar River At East Lansing affecting Ingham County. Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County. Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County. Pine River at Alma affecting Gratiot County. Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County. Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Michigan Sycamore Creek At Holt affecting Ingham County. Thornapple River Near Caledonia affecting Kent County.
: The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Michigan Grand River at Lansing affecting Ingham County. Muskegon River At Evart affecting Osceola County. Chippewa River below Mt. Pleasant affecting Isabella County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Red Cedar River at East Lansing.
When: Until late Thursday morning.
Impacts: At 8.0 feet, The Potter Park Zoo parking lot in Lansing begins to flood.
Additional Details: - At 11:30 AM EDT Monday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM EDT Monday was 8.1 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.1 feet this afternoon.
