...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers inLouisiana...Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting East Baton Rouge,West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Parishes.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing.* WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Friday, May 31.* IMPACTS...At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from RedRiver Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational campsand river bottom farm land will be under water.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 45.9 feet.- Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageTuesday evening to a crest of 51.0 feet Tuesday, May 21. Itwill then fall below flood stage Thursday, May 30.- Flood stage is 48.0 feet.- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of45.6 feet on 12/31/1992.- http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
