Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to bepossible.* WHERE...A portion of north central Louisiana, including thefollowing parishes, Grant and La Salle.* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Showers and thunderstorms, some of which will produce heavyrainfall, will continue to move through Grant and La SalleParishes this afternoon and tonight, before diminishingMonday morning. However, additional showers and thunderstormswill move over these areas Monday afternoon and evening, andalso pose the threat for heavy rainfall. Additional rainfallamounts of one to three inches, with isolated higher amounts,will be possible through Monday night. Given that groundsremain saturated in wake of recent heavy rainfall, thisadditional rainfall may run off, and cause flash flooding.- Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
