...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers inLouisiana...Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting East Baton Rouge,West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Parishes.For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, BatonRouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve, New Orleans...Minor flooding isforecast.* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing.* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to Friday, May 31.* IMPACTS...At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from RedRiver Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational campsand river bottom farm land will be under water.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 47.3 feet.- Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stageTuesday morning and continue rising to a crest of 51.0 feetTuesday, May 21.
