The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansa
S: Walnut River at Arkansas City affecting Cowley County. Chikaskia River near Corbin affecting Sumner County. Arkansas River at Arkansas City affecting Cowley County. Neosho River at Oswego affecting Labette and Cherokee Counties. Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties. Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. Neosho River near Chanute affecting Allen and Neosho Counties.
: The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansa
S: Slate Creek At Wellington affecting Sumner and Cowley Counties. Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sumner and Sedgwick Counties. Neosho River near Erie affecting Neosho County. Verdigris River at Independence affecting Montgomery and Wilson Counties.
: The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Kansa
S: Arkansas River at Oxford affecting Sumner County.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Where: Arkansas River at Arkansas City.
When: Until late Wednesday evening.
Additional Details: - At 2:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 15.0 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Impacts: At 18.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland can be expected. There is considerable flooding upstream along the west bank of the Walnut River. On the east bank, the ground slopes upward so that only about a 300 foot wide strip of land would be affected.
Additional Details: - At 1:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to fall below flood stage this morning and continue falling to 4.2 feet early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
