The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansa
S: Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties.
What: Minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Neosho River near Parsons.
When: From this evening to tomorrow afternoon.
Impacts: At 21.0 feet, Significant flooding of the flood plain begins to occur affecting agricultural fields.
Additional Details: - At 1:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 19.9 feet and rising. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 21.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued late tonight at 200 AM CDT.
