Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Illinoi
S: Wabash River at Lafayette down to Riverton. .Lowland flooding will continue along the Wabash River this week. The crest is below Montezumabut will not reach Vincennes until this weekend. Minor flooding should end by this weekend on the upper Wabashbut is expected to continue into early next week on parts of the middle and lower Wabash. Dry weather is expected into Thursday.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wabash River at Terre Haute.
When: Until Monday, April 13.
Impacts: At 20.5 feet, Residential property of about 50 river cabins begin to flood. North Lake and Izaak Walton Areas near West Terre Haute begin to flood. Flooding closes more county roads. Lowland agricultural flooding is in progress.
Additional Details: - At 9:30 PM EDT Monday /8:30 PM CDT Monday/ the stage was 20.3 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Monday /8:30 PM CDT Monday/ was 20.3 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
